These tools were donated to Sutton Heritage Society at one of the open days we had at Lindley’s Windmill in Prospect Place. See the details of the windmill on a previous page.

The tools were donated by an unknown donor who we would like to trace.

The tools and buildings in the photographs were owned and used by Mr. George Nowell, one of Sutton’s blacksmiths, who had a forge on High Pavement during the 20th century.
